Yeah NCIX was stupid enough to release a video "benchmark" done on Z97 and both the intel 750 and 950 pro performed nearly identical because they were being bottlenecked to 700MBps, barely any faster than a regular SSD

 

And they claimed that "oh you cant trust the numbers on the box" when their testing was completely flawed

I just looked at an Asus z97 chipset patch that allows more than 10/gbs speeds. Not sure if it's real or even worth it.
