So I own a rear exhaust 660ti and the temps are somewhat worrying.

I own this card for almost 2 years now these temps are a new thing.

And my cpu is AMD Athlon II x4 651 at 3 ghz

At the moment I have absolutly no fan in my case and it's sitting on a

carpet but it doesn't matter cuz it has the psu on top of the case...

And I have no idea what case is this 0 branding but it's cheap

In CSGO it was 75-85 degrees Celsius at 200 fps (cpu game)

In Battlefield 4 sits at 90 degrees on ultra/low at 60 fps which didn't happen before

In Msi Furmark something kombustor something it locks on 93 degrees

In Heaven Benchmarak 4.0 is stays on 88 degrees

And each one of these resulted in 70% fan speed which is not as quiet as I would like.

And these are some dangerous temperatures ain't they and my questions are:

What are the normal load temps for a rear exhaust 660ti?

How could I reduce the thermals diffrent ways than changing

out thermal paste, buying a new case and fans? (which ima do)

remove all dust from your PC, heatsinks, fans, everywere then look at temps

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

1: Get a front fan in the case.

2: Clean the dust.

First a foremost clean the dust from the entirety of your PC. Then revisit the issue.

If I deciphered your post correctly, you currently don't have any fans in the system? I'm not sure how you've maintained any kind of respectable temp for anything inside your case, but be that as it may I'd do what everyone else has said - clean that puppy out from top to bottom and throw some fans in there to move the air around. Under load it shouldn't get to no more than 80C. It'll start to throttle around 90C. But this is assuming good ventilation and proper care which obviously hasn't been going on. Clean it out dude.

Currently my bad case has a single spot for a fan and the inside really isn't that dusted, it's not like I didn't do anything. But I'm gonna get a new case now because I have a lot of free time and maybe try cleaning the insides & changing out the thermal paste
