4690k & Cinebench 15 problem?

Go to solution Solved by wyattzx,

I'm not sure if it's any consolation, but I benchmarked my i7-5820k tonight, and scored 1,221 on Cinebench. From what I've seen, the average for the i5-4690k is around 600 points, so I'd say it looks pretty normal to me.

As you can see in the picture, my 4690k does not benchmark properly in my mind. There is also Firestrike benchmark in attachments as well as picture including cpu-z, speccy, cinebench and my Cpu-Z validator screen. Can any of you tell me whats wrong?

SPECS:

4690K 4,6ghz

Gigabyte G1 Sniper m5, F10 bios

2x 8GB 1333mhz Kingston HyperX

Windows 10 Premium

That cinebench score seems fine to me. My friend has the same cpu and he scored about 600 points, just like you.

Hmmm, i was just wondering because Bit-tech benchmarked 4690k with stock clockspeed and scored like 594p and with 4,8ghz 720p. Bit-Tech review

I restarted before that run and increased multiplier to 46 and voltage to 1,28 from 1,27. Score before the increase was something around 590. My 3DMark score increased from ~6300 to ~6500. I dont really know if something is wrong or am I just being paranoid.

Okey. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Since my friend with stock 4690k 3,5ghz got like 460p and brother 3,9ghz 524. Maybe I wont trust Bit-Tech anymore or that was just mistake or smth. So it seems to be false alarm. Thanks tho!

My CPU not overclocked scores around 1,035. So overclocking leads to greatly-improved Cinebench scores. :)

We do have a dedicated stickied Cinebench thread in this same subforum,

You're roughly in line with the other scores, little low. Follow the FAQ section and read up on the tips for how to get a higher score in R15 and you should be able to get results a bit higher.

I'd get 700 (or just short) with my 4690K.. approx 4.6 IIRC. The faster one did 752 at 5GHz. Did you run the benchmark with all that other crap open in the background?
