Obnoxious issue with quoting other posts

Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

To remove quotes, you have to either click on the move icon then press delete, or cltr+right click and click "remove quote". I know it's not intuitive, and we are looking into ways of improving it.

If you quote another post, but then decide you don't want to quote that post, there doesn't seem to be a way to totally delete the quote, Im then stuck with something like this down below, and there doesn't seem to be a way to easily remove the quote, whereas on the earlier forum, I could merely go in and delete it from the Html code, there may be some way to fix this, but i can't figure out how. so if nothing else, could I get some help on how to remove it.

I quoted two posts in my reply and then deleted them by simply pressing delete with my cursor underneath the quoted text. So if you don't see those quotes in this reply, try doing just that.

Click the title or move icon in the top left of the quote box and press delete.

yeah, that doesn't work, but I tried ctrl-z and that worked, even after refreshing the page.

you need to have the quote box selected

not the text inside

you just click on the box and hit delete

i dont see how thats so difficult...
