i got a Intel mobile core 2 duo T6750 in my laptop how can it be that you can buy those for something like 350 dollars.

can it be because they are so old or why are they so expensive

This is just a price that hasn't been updated in a long time probably and it's overpriced to begin with..

Old CPUs that are no longer in production are expensive because the only people buying them are doing so to replace a broken part so people know they'll either pay what they are asking because it's probably cheaper than replacing the whole computer/laptop.

because price hasn't been updated . You can find them used for next to nothing though
