Still possible, you can still download the BIOS for them, and flashing a BIOS isnt hard.

Naah dude, intell specifically told all Board makers to disable the OCing capability on H170 Boards

BTW, you can't OC on H boards, period .

And once again you are ignoring facts. You have done this before in a X61 VS H110 GTX thread, where you stated that the X61 Was on lower fan speed, when it wasnt, and was louder, where once again it wasnt.

Custom also implies unofficial BTW.

BTW, i never commented on such a thread, and the fact is, H mobos aren't OCing Capable, Z ones are, why the fuck would people be buying Z boads when they r intending to OC while they could go for a much cheaper H and still OC ?? and why the hell would they be still making em any way ?!!

I wish I had the same power as you to ignore proof THAT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, People buy Z Series boards because they look better, have more PCI-e Slots, are built better among other reasons such as SLi and Crossfire, and most people on Z97 DONT ACTUALLY OC.

By disabling speed stepping, if you dont even know you can do that, why should you even be talking about overclocking?

Theres other reasons people buy them for extra virtualizatrion handles for stuff like vSphere setups in Vmware.

You need to realize you aren't the smartest person on this forum about overclocking, me and Barrel both do HWBOT.

He might be a bit newer but stil does XOC, I've been doing it for about 2 years now, you're just going to end up making yourself look silly when @Jumper118 and @harrynowl pop in.

I would much rather trust someone who literally OC's different hardware everyday over someone who is wrong.

Also never stated better built for OCing, my MSi board cannot deal with high volts, but is very stable at like 1.4V, the CPU, however would not be.
