Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Multibeast options.

defunkt

I'm planning on dual booting with the latest mountain lion soonish. What do i need to install in multibeast? I know about the custom motherboard thingy of the website and i will download that, my specs are in my signiture.  :)

Also, is there a way to put multibeast onto a flash drive without mountain lion?

You will put Multibeast on a flashdrive, without putting Mountain Lion on it. If you do not have a Mac already you have to start with Snowlepard and then, upgrade to moutain Lion, then put muiltibeast on a flash drive.

I think I could gain access to a mac if I really had to. But I'd rather not. How much more complicated is it without a mac?

Honestly, it really is not complicated,  more being patient with the install if you do not have a MAC around. The only reson you need a MAC is so you can make the multibeast flashdrive. If you do not have a MAC then you have to install Snow Leopard first and then upgrade to moutain Lion.

Tony MAC X86 website will give you much better detail then i ever could LOL :), I just understand how to do it, as I have a hackintosh myself.

If you want to go the unibeast route, you need an mac (don't know if a hackintosh works as well)

Multibeast can just be copied onto any flash drive, etc. Multibeast is only a post-installation tool though ...
