i5-4690k, STRIX GTX 970 build

I posted a topic talking about a future build a week or so ago, but that was for the far(ish) future, when i have more than enough money for it (x99, 17-5820k) but i have been looking into the build posted above as an upgrade to my current system, my drive and power supply i'll be carrying over from my current system to this one. The final price of this would go down about 700ish AUD or about 500ish USD, because i plan on selling my parts after the new build to lower the overall cost of the machine. So all i want to know,  ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶r̶u̶n̶ ̶m̶i̶n̶e̶s̶w̶e̶e̶p̶e̶r Will the cpu be an adequate replacement if i overclock it, and will this be moderately quiet? Im new to building, as all i have done is upgrade my system and system maintenance, and i have watched videos from Linus, so i kind of have an idea of what im doing. No doubt, when i end up waiting for all the stuff to arrive so i can build it, ill binge watch build guides, hoping it'll stop me from destroying everything.

Have no complaints, the AIO cooler should be relatively quiet.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

change the gpu to an r9 390 and the case to a Phanteks Enthoo Pro. and you're good to go :)

looks good, things i'd change is i'd spend much less on the case and the ram, get an arctic freezer 13 or something and get a 380X or a 390/X, or maybe you'd even be able to squize a 980 in there, one other root to go is skylake

I'd love to go with the r9 390, but i would prefer CUDA, because I render a fair few things in my CAD programs. Should i up it to a 980? I have a feeling that the r9 390 suggestion was for future proofing and better game performance over the 970, but my focus is tilted more to 3D modeling and image rendering, and the 980 has CUDA and higher performance than both.
