Do I need both a modem and a wireless router for internet?

This is a router and modem combined, so you will not need another router.

Ahh, no. Not if you are using correct terminology. A modem is a transparent device, a router is not. Most devices given by ISP are gateways, which are modem/router combos, but saying modems are routers is like saying switches are routers just because most routers come with switches inside. It just causes confusion IMO.

What you're getting is a router / modem all in one. You can set the wireless network up and you will be able to access the internet wirelessly, if you have any computers that need a wired connection just plug in an ethernet cable and you're good to go, hope that makes it simple for you
