Where to plug my audio?

Hello, I was wondering if I should plug my headset and microphone directly into the motherboard on the back of my computer, plug them in the front panel jacks , or if it even makes a difference?

plugging them in the back will give you less EMI

The only factors would be latency and the build quality of the cases 3.5mm jacks vs the MB's. And even i doubt you would hear a difference in quality in sound unless you are using some very very high end gear (50k and up) and listening to flac or lossless files. As for latency, it would happen so fast you wouldnt be able to tell.

Well ya know, there's different kinds of lossless files and flac is the most common, didnt want to list them all.

Here in the south we sometimes use just "or" instead of "or other"

Great, as if "or" wasn't already misused enough by generally meaning "either or" instead of the logical disjunction.

Well ya know, people are raised in different parts of the country or world and they don't all speak english the same. I try to keep my grammar right, but that isn't always the case. So I do apologize when people misunderstand me.

So if I plug it into a quarter million audio system in the front its going to be bad.  LIFE HAS BEEN RUINED!
