Ive ordered a 5820k and this corsair ram @ 3000MHz ... 

 

pc part picker said it is compatible...

but i went on ARK and it sayas the 5820k does not support 3000mhz memory....

you COULD be

different boards sometimes don't like different types of ram..especially ram outta specfication

 

however..you are PROBABLY ok

You should be able to change your RAM speed to a compatible setting. I think it will be fine. However, you really want to check your memory compatibility with your motherboard

i actually have the same ram for my system though its the 2800mhz version in red. Im running the 5820k also20151202_152430.thumb.jpg.7db39c867b9ee2

You'll be fine, you can set the specific speed in the bios.  And if worse comes to worse, you can always return it for a refund.  That shouldn't be necessary though

you need to enable XMP for it to run at that speed, then it is supported
