I have an Intel I5-4590 as my CPU and a Radeon HD 5850 as my GPU. I recently found out that the integrated Intel 4600 graphics in my CPU is a better GPU than my Radeon HD 5850 GPU. This is found here:

Intel 4600 Graphics: http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/Intel+HD+Graphics+4600/review?_ga=1.68692308.416645578.1454350975

Radeon HD 5850: http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/ATI+Radeon+HD+5850/review?_ga=1.262088008.416645578.1454350975

I was wondering on how to switch to processor integrated graphics but will it shorten the lifespan or damage my CPU if using the integrated graphics?

Just remove your GPU from your pc and plug the display cable into your motherboard out instead of the GPU out. Also the CPU is designed to use the iGPU lol, thats why they even have them xD

Well technically it will make the CPU package temp a tad higher, that might be what he's asking. :P
