200 fps gaming computer

Mp7mad22

Okay. So a few problems here. First of all, you guys are not helping him AT ALL... You are just discussing stuff that does nothing for him.

So from what I understand, you just want your pc to run smooth in arma 2 dayZ and minecraft. And I take it that 200fps is just to underline that you want everything smooth.

So everything from 60fps/hz and up will do good!

Problems:

Arma 2 is in its core not very well optimized compared to some other games and their engines. Second of all DayZ is a lag fest. It's impossible to get an ultra smooth experience all the time. First of all, arma 2 can't utilize multiple GPU's. ALSO DayZ is VERY server side dependent. As an example, you could be in a server with 5 people in it and run avg. 60fps. But if you join an identical server with 30+ connected, you will get MUCH lower performance, and you will experience dips and so on. You can go for better gpu's to compensate for this, but you will never get rid of the dips even if you run multiple 780's.

Arma 3 is on it's way, and I can from personally tell, even from BETA experience, that it's already performing better than arma 2.

I will post a few setups that will handle arme 2 good as of now. (also nVidia cards seem to performe generally better in Arma than AMD cards).

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

It must be some tv with 200hz backlight.(Really they run @30hz) :)

Stop trolling him he is just new in tech

Naw. the technology apparently really exists to make "144+Hz" panels in which the display itself guesses frames in between actual frames. Apparently it's very blurry.

No, just no. If you want a gaming pc, please do yourself a favor, and but a desktop. NOT a laptop. Unless you REALLY want the portability. If not, GO FOR THE DESKTOP.

I have the VG278HE. It's 144Hz. It's not blurry at high frames. I've played COD on it. It looks almost unreal how smooth it plays. I've done the refresh tests mentioned in the "true 120hz hdtv to pc" website at the bottom. No noticeable ghosting. Only paid $380.

And the GPU will give as many frames as it can. A true high refresh pc monitor doesn't interpolate frames. It displays what it is given natively up to it native refresh rate.

Either answer the question or don't. Stop discussing the politics behind it and just answer OPs query.

I forgot the actual model number but after a bit of searching I found it;

attachicon.gif000387-00.jpg

It may be at a low resolution, but it's still 200Hz.

Is that a european tv from 1985?
