I love naming of the Core 2 Extreme series. It is just like: This is too EXTREME for you, all mah cores TO THE EXTREME!!!

Like how Intel names their CPUs. Netburst is a pretty unique name to name a cpu imo. :)

I wonder what people on the Intel response team think of this post.

 

I am looking forward to the future! Someone has to come out with a breakthrough to improve performance or we will be at a standstill.

Congratz to intel for selling us overpriced silicone for 10 years now! :D

The performance was never worth the 1000$ for the consumer-enthusiasts it was targeted to... Not even in the good ol' Core 2 Extreme days. Btw, I'm kinda sorry they didn't keep that name, Core 2 Extreme sound so damn good.
