A buddy of mine is looking for a new mouse, wondering if the mice mentioned in the title work on glass surfaces.

Logitech MX Masters tracks on literally every surface and surprisingly well on glass but it's pricey.

Yeah but I say pricey because looking at how he says his buddy wants it to track on glass makes it sound like he is your average joe shmo and not hardcore gamer for lack of mouse pad.  SO pricey for him but not a real member of the PCMR.

As far as I'm aware, literally only the MX Master/Performance MX with their darkfield lasers will do it. Mine works perfectly on a glass desk, as well as my mousepad.
