Need help on deciding which toolkit I should buy.

The Essential kit is better for the type of stuff you get, and you should be able to work a more broad spectrum of components and mobile devices.

If you tend to use a lot of bits (If you work on HP/Compaq computers, than you know what I am talking about), than get the 54 Bit driver, or get what I use:

link?

Well the set I bought is out in the garage and I really don't feel like getting it. If you go there they have a whole wall of sets.

This is $4. Any opinions?

I have to say, it might make for a decent paper weight.

From my experience, the cheap bits like that, tend to just break while trying to screw something.

It depends -- do you need the prying tools and such? You can use guitar picks in place of those little plastic spatulas, and buy a pack of suction cups at the dollar store, as well as a little tote to store it all in. From there, all you need is a decent screwdriver set.

The iFixit Kit is great and all, but they do charge a little much for what it offers, really.

Personally, I just use some Lowe's precision screwdriver set, whatever tweezers I happen to grab from my beauty stuff (if I need them), and some generic wrist-strap. The screwdriver I use is pretty awesome, though. It's small, ratcheting, and comes with all the basic bits you'd need. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009XG73QG
