Ops

G'day guys, since Firefox Update 44.0 it keeps not responding randomly, does anyone else have the same problem?

Is it not loading up after you try to open the application? If so, I had the same problem. I just restored windows to the previous restore point. Now it's working fine. T

It was not loading on three of my machines. Uninstall and installs weren't working. Couldn't find anything on the web. Tried this and it worked. Not sure how or why.

I've restarted my PC since the update so that's out of the question.

Honestly I don't think its a firefox issue. I've been using 44 and it hasn't crashed once even with my 50+ tabs open. It might be one of your add-ons or user scripts(assuming you use these).

I should mention that in version 44 they have started enforcing add-on signing. So unsigned add-ons won't work anymore. When I restarted the browser after the update it asked me to update my dictionary(becuase the old version didn't work with 44) but that was about it.

You could try the dev edition where unsigned add-ons are still and as far as I know will always be allowed. And I also think the dev edition is using e10s by default so it should be multi-process. This will make it so one poorly functioning page won't crash the whole browser.

Can you try a new Firefox profile?

Run > firefox.exe -P

Or you can try a browser refresh

Make sure to have a backup of your bookmarks before doing this, just in case.
