Photoshop CS6 Extended Need Help

Hey,

Need some help on this please! Any help I would get Id be grateful for! So Im trying to photoshop this (See picture below: First image) image with this (See picture below: Second one)  head. So basically replace the dog head with that head of a person. How can I make the contrast/tone from the painting look like that as well on the face when its on the painting. And how can I remove the ears of the dog and replace it instead with the background color?

Thanks

pretty much and now the color tone of the painting itself should also be applied on the face. So the face should look antique sorta, heres an example:

So like the contrast of the painting itself should be on the face as well
