Views on arcam irdac

Hello I'm looking for a dac to go with my schiit lyr 2 and he-500 setup, and was looking at the arcam irdac.

I can find it for around £200 gbp second hand.

And I was wondering how f anyone has/had experience with it .

Are there any other dacs you would recommend.

alas,i have no experience with arcam, so cant vouch for them.

that would be the dream but a bifrost with usb is 380 new and I havnt found 1 second hand yet...(2 months and nothing)

forgot just how expensive the shiit gear was, especially over in the uk

No fucking clue. Personally I wouldn't get a DAC, or if I did I'd get a Schiit to complete the stack.

the problem I have have is the sheer amount of static I have when I plug directly into my pc (can't go above 30% on pc without my ears b bleeding from the noise)

And what happened to the nice ssl we had ;)

Was there one? No one here but us shitlords.

 

Buy a DAC if you want, but I suspect that your static issues could be fixed without spending money.

I will defiantly have a look at the guide but yes 50% of me also wants a dac just because why the fuck not xD <3 ssl
