There was something a while back talking about newer uTorrent versions having a bitcoin miner program along with it, I cant remember what it was called. The stupid miner does nothing to benefit the end user, instead, any coins your machine mines, it sends to the company that owns the program, which is a charity organization.

out of all the torrent clients, utorrent is the one that caused the most negative news stories.

from porn ads to bitcoin miners to straight up spyware, it seems like the devs have no morals what so ever.

find the program, stop the process in task manager, and then remove the file in program files

well, its the devs that put it in there...

that said, i generally mean the company behind the software "the devs" since it takes an entire company to make a program, not just a programmer.

Has no one here considered that the application just hasn't been refreshed, in terms of what it is capturing?

Assuming uTorrent used quite a bit of bandwidth, it may still be showing there for whatever the time period that application has, until something else surpasses it, or it refreshes for a new cycle.
