I feel lonely. I refuse to go out and talk to people with the intention of becoming their friend because I feel I will be judged incorrectly, judging annoys me but I feel it's a necessary evil that we can't do without. Or I feel because I might be ridiculed and thought of as the odd man out.

I don't like people being rude to each other to the point where they are offending each other. Joking around and teasing are one thing but there is always someone who takes it too far and ruins the group.

I feel unwanted. My friends from high school have dissipated. I didn't make any friends in college, seems like people are either too interested in sex/relationships and will step over people to get it or are depressed/unhappy and willing to be stepped on and won't stand up for their beliefs. I'm alone, the extended family I live with annoys me, I do not fit in with them, unfortunately that's all I have. Although I'm not as extreme I feel like Shelden Cooper from big bang theory in an infinite unending high school cheerleader party. We don't mix. And they are at each other's throat and make no sense and just settle all the time. I don't expect them to be there for me anymore, it's clear we don't mix. I see them as manipulative, messy, untrustworthy, nice hearted,

I feel none of my relationships have been a fair give and take. This keeps me from reaching out again. I no longer want to be hurt. I like playing insurgency.

Honestly I don't feel for you at all. If you're unwilling to change your views and go out to make friends, then obviously you'll be alone. People very rarely stay friends forever. As you grow up you'll go your separate ways, you'll have new experiences and the things you like will change.

Not all groups have that. If you've experienced that it sucks, but that doesn't mean that every group has the person that take sit too far. If it does, perhaps it would have been best to talk about it and get rid of the trouble maker rather than everyone going their separate ways.

Why don't you try online dating? You can make friends as well on there, not just dating. Might be worth a shot, plus expanding ones female friend category is never a bad thing.

It kind of sounds like you're very skeptical, cynical and a pessimist. One of my best friends is the same way. You might want to try and get help. See someone. Because with an attitude like that, it will only drive people away.

What makes you happy?

My friends, hope in humanity, joking around making fun of each other in good spirit, my niece, decency.

I am willing to change my views however I am tired of being disappointed. Yes people go their separate ways but being disappointed again and again while having no one to fall back on or that one person who is always there and still having to manage everything yourself because you don't have family is a PITA and exhausting.

Everyone online group I try has an ass or is racist/rude or are just not my type. When I said went their separate ways I meant my high school friends. Or online friends who split because the games died down.

Online dating lack of confidence in looks, the nonstop barrage of nonsense I would get from my family and previous friends who are religious. Plus the fish I have had relationships with online I don't like so much.

I'm normally an optimist but the continuing disappointment has gotten to me. What do you mean you follow my posts?

Please post in the correct sub forum next times(i.e Off Topic)

Sorry i meant to. I thought general was off topic.

Do you have Asperger's Syndrome like me?  That sounds like Asperger's Syndrome or social anxiety.

No but I don't have alot of social experience. I can understand all social situations but in the moment often what comes out of my mouth is not what I meant and when meeting new people I can misunderstand their cues. I don't have any issues with people I am comfortable with, we understand each other fine.

Too tired to JUST DO IT lol.

There are tons of people who don't have family to fall back on. I have family to fall back on and I don't. So, that's not much of a reason..

It sort of seems like you've only really tried to meet people online? Is this true? Perhaps that's the problem.

You shouldn't care what your "previous friends" think, and you don't even have to tell your family. Also, you don't date online...you'd just send a couple messages and then meet in person.

Even if you just find friends there, that still works. People do use it for that as well. You could even use it as a vetting system.

What I've said might sound a bit cold, but honestly it's life. It's entirely what you decide to make of it. If you decide to cut yourself off from most people and not try to make friends, then that's the life you've kind of set yourself towards. There are tons of different things you could do.

I met people in highschool and made some friends that way, met some other people through those friends the years following highschool but I havn't reached out IRL and met anyone on my own. We had good times but they have all went where life took them.

I've met people online on my own but I feel that's because people arn't as concerned about their own insecurities online and don't try to hide their wounds with bs that's not even entertaining. But rather I havn't met anyone online in a while that I liked.

I don't care what they think, they have some things I need them for which are at risk if they find out. What do the fun people use to date these days? POF seemed mostly like a bag of dirt. I don't necessarily want a relationship, I'd rather find a good group of friends first. As pointless as that seems because people havn't done anything except disappoint recently.

Hobby wise I like helping gamer friends (which I have 0 of these days) with computers, building and figuring out specs for computers.

I liked playing Yugioh but I feel I will be stared at as a weirdo/creep if I do play it at this point (I look old, although I'm 6-10 years younger than what I look).

Can't do any exercise these days due to some medical issues

How do I find community events?

Volunteer, I do like that but I mostly find senior citizens there. I like the elderly but I'm not trying to lose yet another person.
