as title says, sometimes it registers but 90/100 clicks it wont, anyone know how to fix it?

I'm only asking because the Steam controller has a trackpad, so are you using a Steam controller?

 

If it's a normal laptop trackpad, you may be SOL as I haven't heard of this particular issue. The game should be functional with a trackpad.

 

Also, you have my sympathies for playing an FPS with a trackpad.
