Ok So, i already own a PC which you can find the specs for in my signature, but  i have a friend who doesnt have a good enough computer( hes using an HP laptop i gave to him in like 2011 to do 3D modeling and rigging and stuff, and it breaks my heart) So i decided i would upgrade my current components to A skylake and give him parts from my current build( excluding the case). So this is the current build im going for. I would like suggestions for it in terms of what parts to could be better. As it stands im really sold on the MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA. The thing is beautiful with its monochromatic self :D.

Any advice given would be greatly appreciated, namely on the GPU. theres like 9000+ 980ti's and i dont know which one is better than the other one( they all seem the same) and i would preferably like it to be a fairly neutral monochromatic color as well.

What am i using this for mostly is gaming and 3D modeling. probably overkill, but as i technically dont have a budget, i am willing to allocate $2,000+ to this build but if i can do it for less thats even better. I would also like to future-proof abit as well.

Peripheral-wise. Im mostly doing 1080p gaming, 4k doesnt do much for me and 1440p while becoming the standard is something i can live without for the time being.

So yea...thats it :) please and thank you!

This is the build itself

Looks good to me. Although Do you need an AIO 980Ti? Could probably go with an air cooled one just fine if your case has enough cooling. Remember that 2 places in your case the AIOs will fill up leaving that much less airflow due to the cooling fins on the cooler itself.

Yea you are right, the case does have ample cooling on air. ill do more research and pick a different 980ti

Because later down the line after i sold it to him, the screen was damaged and the laptop was not meant to do task such as modeling and the purposes he needed it for. He's been using it for 3 years now and i definitely think he needs something much better
