Is it a discreet film on the lcd?

Hello,

I recently bought a replacement screen for my laptop and it seems to have a product number or something etched into the screen.
I can't seem to be able to even lightly scratch it ( bad idea anyway I know) or anything, thus making me believe that it is maybe inside or something similar.

I tried to find if there is even anything remotely similar to this issue but I couldn't find anything off from google.

Thanks in advance if anybody knows what this could be and if it could be fixed.

Where did you buy it? I'd just return it, looks to me to have used a piece of plastic/glass that they're not supposed to whilst constructing it

If I use words like probably or most likely, it is because I dislike certainty. These words can probably be omitted and the sentence read as a certainty.

Oh you are correct, there was no indication whatsoever that there is a layer of film covering the screen, nor was I aware that they do that.
This was the first time I've bought a laptop screen like this. It was quite difficult to get it off. Thanks for suggesting this.

I'll be more wise next time.
