favorite CPU Cooler?

Since I don't have any experiences with coolers, I'll name one from a different form of cooling. And yes, custom water cooling is off of this list. That's just a given.

 

Air: be quiet! Dark Rock 3. I'm a silence fanatic.

AIO: EKWB XLC-Predator 360 Rev 1.1 (Rev 1.0 has been recalled). 360mm radiator means you can lower the fan RPM and still get really nice cooling, plus much better headroom for overclocking.

I like the Noctua NH-U12S which is like a better version of the 212 Evo for air cooling and I like the EK predator units for AIO.

Anything Noctua, currently in love with the NH-U9DXi4 :D

 

It's only for server boards though; I'd recommend the NH-D15 for consumer boards :)

I loved my old Cryorig R1 ultimate, looked ballin :D

 

But my new personal favorite is my custom loop.  Looks so simple, yet does an amazing job :D
