I've always found it's better in the long temp to put in a solid months worth of flirting and innuendo to get her really wanting it.

I presumed he had already done that for him to know he likes her I would agree with you if he hasn't already done this

I just presumed he definitely knew she liked him and hopefully that is the case but you could be right I didn't really think of that I'm only a year older than him though and I would never believe school yard rumors then again I would never ask for advice on a girl on a tech forum or anywhere else for that matter I'd just seduce them with my awkwardness

The best advice I can give you is just be yourself. If she likes you already thats a plus. Just approach her nicely and ask her if she'd like to go out sometime and that you want to get to know her better.

 

Be a good listener, as much as guys say they don't, if you're really interested in her then she'll have your attention all the time. Be a gentleman, chivalry counts for something these days.

 

Just be yourself, oh and put her before gaming  ;)

 

*currently with my gf for 3 years, still going strong. She knows me so well she preordered BF4 digital deluxe edition for me  :D

If she already likes you then she's going to say yes pretty much no matter what... don't worry about "doing it just right" or whatever.  When you have a moment of privacy, just ask her straight up.

 

Trust me, when I was in high school I missed an opportunity like yours too :P In hindsight this is what I should have done ^ Hindsight is a wonderful thing... make use of mine :P
