Convince a friend that the Nexus 7 is a better buy than the iPad 2

I have a friend who wants to buy a tablet and keeps telling me that the iPad 2 is better for the price used can you guys help me convince him I know its 7" vs 10" but I am thinking tablet wise.

Maybe not better app selection. Android doesn't really have a lot of apps that have been optimized for tablet. But +1 for the others. AND CHEAPER! WAY CHEAPER!

My school has iPad 2's and they make me very sad because I have a Nexus 7 2013 which makes the iPad look like a joke, pretty much everything in the Nexus 7 is better

If he wants a 10 inch tablet, there's also the Nexus 10.

Android devices also have much be personalization and customizability.

Shopping for a 10" tablet is different from shopping for a 7", it's an Apple and Oranges situation.

if you're looking at the new Nexus 7 then yeah will be a great buy. I have the old Nexus 7 and the build quality isnt all that great and it can struggle with performance. Never used an Ipad so cant really compare there.
