Does anyone still play Remember Me?

I was going through my steam library, when I found Remeber Me, which I bought during the summer sale. It's an incredible game, but very linear, and has a great story. The graphics were very good for a game from 2013, and Neo Paris, the setting, looked fantastic. I find it ironic that nobody remembers this game, despite its name. Personally, I loved it, but has anyone else played this game?

I personally forgot about the game. The only thing I really remember from it (no jokes here) is the :me: emoticon.

It was bogged down by some really stupid design choices, mainly all of them mechanically. The combo system was pretty basic, the platforming sometimes just felt too linear and even pointless. Bossfights were "here is my weak spot please hit it". But it had some cool stuff aswell, and i definitely enjoyed my time with it. The memory rewind was cool, the story was ok, graphics were good (though some area's felt unfinished, like with the big robot) and some of the themes/settings were good. I also liked the progression the commercials made during your playthrough.

 

Also, to quote yahtzee, "for the splendid bum on the cover"

 

And eventhough it's made unpopular by third wave feminists ragging the community about it, i would like to see more interesting female characters. Not shoehorned characters, but like Nilin, Jade and Zoë (dreamfall)

I actually got this game today from G2A for £2:80,  gonna give it a try when I finish Life is Strange.

Started playing this tonight and it's a good game so far, runs well and looks decent. Love the cyperpunk setting. What's up with some of the pre rendered cutscenes though? They look like total arse! Low res, choppy, screen tearing. Kinda pulls you out of the game tbh.

yeah pre-rendered scenes were pretty bad. but some games do it pretty well, like DmC.

Luckily there haven't been that many of them so far. Enjoying the game regardless, I can't believe I missed this one for so long.
