Need advice - Windows file transfer server

Bump.  I'm basically looking for a FTP that I can use over secure (at least user/pass) wifi, maybe mobile network.  I use teamviewer to remote into the system but its FTP is crazy slow over wifi with android app.  Any suggestions? 

 

I just set up a SSL Filezilla server on it and set it up over the WAN.  Tested it from my phone and a remote computer and works.

Hey guys, 

 

  I have a windows 10 machine running as my NAS (I know of freeNAS but I know the windows platform so I just put a bunch of HDD's in it).  I'm also avoiding full server setups because I run other stuff from this PC (minecraft, source servers ect.)   Recently the PC disconnected itself from home groups and refuses to connect again.  So I guess its time to ditch microsoft and find some other program that I can use to copy files to and from it.  I know of Filezilla but I only want to share a few HDD's not all of them from so unless I can do that i'd like to find another software.  

 

Hope that made since to someone here and could give me some tips.

did you do an upgrade to windows 10 or did you do a proper clean install

Its on a clean win10 from a USB, from the Microsoft site.  Shouldn't matter, it worked then stopped and won't reconnect.  I probably blocked something on the router firewall that messed with it, I've been wanting to get something other than home groups for a while though.  

 

Edit: the "clean install" was probably 3 months ago at this point.
