What's the best for school laptop? I'm not going to be doing much, just powerpoints and word documents and everything, but I also want something easy to carry and have a sorta good battery life.. any help?

If you can swallow the price, the Dell XPS 13 just got a refresh and is a great laptop for things like PowerPoint. the LG Gram 14 is also a very good option if you want a larger screen

Because he said he needed to do Word and PowerPoint on the laptop, I doubt a Chromebook would do very well for him. While you can edit Word and PowerPoint docs on a Chromebook, it is extremely annoying to.
