  1. you can go for a 650w power supply since you're not gonna overclock, or a 700w
  2. Of course it will.. I think the r9 390 is for you then. It's a really good card and could get your framerates UP with that card. Sapphire is good for base clock + cooler, and also the MSI one is good
  3. I know people may disagree but I think having a higher base clock and overclocking capability of the 970 is good.. get an evga or an asus or an msi 970. it's gonna be good. I got myself an r9 390 and I like it.. it's up to you, but everything is there
  4. It's up to you.. I mean, of course people love the 8gb of vram that the r9 390 has to offer, but if you get a 970 it's okay too, depends on what res monitor you're gonna play on. also lowers down the psu wattage to 550 or 600

  8. Oh I see, but still. at least get like a phanteks enthoo pro or something, $130 for a case isn't too smart.. you could probably get a better mobo or something with that, some nice fans or such
  9. If you're looking for a mid tower case, the define s is good, or define r5 or h440.. a $130 case isn't too worth it. Why are you going for 240gb of SSD for 128-ish when you can get a 250gb ssd from samsung evo for 85 dollars? other than that everything is okay.. I suggest geting windows from a subreddit, microsoftsoftwareswap, and yeah

  11. i'm trying to have like a white/black color scheme hence why I went with the oc'd cpu, there isn't any h97 mobo's that are white/black at a reasonable price
  12. i have a cryorig h7, with the included 2 case fans in the nzxt s340
  13. I have a general idea of what my build is gonna be, a 4690k with a z97 sli krait motherboard and an r9 390, and I just have this sense of being scared to overclock. it's my first time building a computer let alone an overclockable computer and I get scared of something not going to plan, or in extreme cases having it blow up or have too much heat to where it won't function and such.. are there any tips or any warnings you guys can give me? I just don't understand the RAM overclock as well as the VCore, the VCore is the one that makes me scared because I don't really understand what percentage/
  14. I have a 4690k and a z97 sli krait, as well as a 980ti with an ssd and hard drive, the expected wattage is around 447 w and I was just wondering if I oc'd the 4690 3.5ghz base, to a 4.2 or 4.5 ghz or something along those lines, can a 650w power supply be enough to power it under full load?
