Friend of a friend told me

So yeah a friend of a friend told me that my friend's cpu needs two sticks of ram to use both cores and he has an intel pentium g3258 I know he is stupid but is this really true?

He probably also cools his rig with a desk fan.

I've had to cool an alienware laptop with a desk fan to prevent if from thermal throttling and then overheating. :P I don't reccomend it, made my hands cold as hell, almost made me want to wear gloves.

I imagine it wouldn't hurt much to be hit with a stick of ram.
