No. Skylake has dual IMC capable of using DDR3(L) and DDR4.

I am looking to upgrade my cpu from an am3+ socket so I would have to get a new mobo either way. Which cpu would you recommend?

Thanks for you all, after this topic I decided to upgrade my CPU from an A10-5800k to an E3-1231 V3(with ASRock Mod B85M Pro3), lets see tomorrow if I can really notice the diference :)
