Didn't see this coming. 
Apparently he was dealing with cancer for some time now. 

Like a true sexy man, he died at 69. 

 

His music was a big part of our lives, and his bulge in labyrinth was a big part of our nightmares.

Scott Weiland made me particularly sad- it was no surprise given how long he'd had a huge drug problem. He killed STP and himself practically.

Scott Weiland made me particularly sad- it was no surprise given how long he'd had a huge drug problem. He killed STP and himself practically. 

Scott Weiland lost a lot of credit with me after his somewhat recent Loudwire interview, where he claimed that he hadn't touched drugs for 13 years.

Everyone that knows Scott Weiland and/or his bands knew that it was a lie and so did Scott. 

I was still sad to see him go, but I did lose a lot of respect for him.

I rewatched Christiane F - Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo today. Great movie with a soundtrack made by Bowie and Eno.

Later today I'll rewatch The Man Who Fell to Earth. Such a great movie, which of course also stares David Bowie.

Labyrinth is up for tomorrow along with the Prestige, He also had a cameo in Zoolander, but I think I'll skip that.
