The 590 is rated for 600w power draw. I had the same question last night, I'd go for a GTX 770 to avoid the poor SLI configuration it'll have with new games

The 680 is a rebranded 770, also some 770s go for $135-$150

But 770 is pretty costly..

msi

always msi

since your going 760, a 750 should be good. You want to get a power supply that uses less power than your overal power draw for longer lasting lifetime

Bid on this and see what happens.

Otherwise MSI

That's 2 580s. Each 580 draws 300W. FX 6300 draws 120W. You are going over 700W....

No, I would go for a GTX 670, 680, 770, or an AMD Radeon 7970 / Ghz Edition

I wouldn't touch that card with a ten foot pole. It's five years old, it's rated at 365W TDP, it only has 1.5GB effective VRAM, and your FX-6300 would bottleneck the hell out of it. I'd just find a used GTX 760/670/680/770 on eBay, where I listed cards from worst to best.

It's comparable a 960, and a 960 for $135 is good :P

Quite a lot better actually.

and how good is a zotac gtx 570 AMP edition for 100$

Alright though I didn't say you had to choose that specific GPU. Go no less then a 570 though I have to highly recommend looking into an AMD 7870,  7950, or 7970, or on nvidias side a GTX 580 at the minimum thoug a 670 would be optimal
