Is the HDD dying?

Technically, but all HDD's are dying slowly. 5 sectors isn't bad though, its usually when you start seeing more-and-more add up, and when you reach the 1000's within a short amount of time.

well, from that screenshot its just fine.

the issue is we dont know if those 5 sectors went out over time, or if they're the start of a rapid sudden decline towards death.

its still perfectly fine for now, but do keep an eye on that.

Download and run the SeaTools (seagate scan) and see if the sectors are repairable. That's only 2000 hours on the drive, which is low.

But 5 sectors, means the drive is on it's way out. 5 bad sectors can harm the performance pretty quickly.

What test should I run?

Yup. Random times the Disk Activity and RAM usage just spike up even with only one Chrome tab running.
