Worth upgrading gaming rig from 16GB to 32GB RAM?

Newegg just put the memory I needed on sale for $89, so I went ahead and bought another 16GB.  Hopefully it will work with my current set.  If not, then one person said I could always use it in another system.

 

If it does work, might investigate the benefits of a RAMdisk and if that would help at all.
