Vessel exclusive content

Hello,

I have recently started using vessel and I noticed that there seems to be some vessel exclusive content (older than 7 days and not on youtube)

Am I missing something or is there vessel exclusive content? I thought it would just be on youtube after 7 days?

Examples include:

Holy shit- 3.84 tb ssd

Lmg team q&a

What's on my phone

Handy tech under 50$: camera edition

 

Edit: the handy tech episode is 21 days old, even with the 7 day wait period, it still should have been uploaded to youtube 14 days ago, which is way before ces!

Their schedule is a bit weird because they have CES right now. That content should be rolling out next week.

Things seem to get jumbled around, and with CES ongoing I think the non-CES videos are just in a holding pattern of sorts.

you should get all videos 7 days in advance. but lets pull that statement back to *should* cus it defenitivly doesn't and won'T happen all the time

hell even ces coverage is not on vessel compared to youtube for all videos.

idk why the rig upodate and the 7gamer 1cpu is on youtube. exept for gaining a heck of a lot of views before ces (wich is both understandable, but also kind of a shady move for vessel users) I don't see why.

The 7 gamers 1 PC would have had advertising contract requirements from Kingston most likely and were required to release the video on youtube a minimum number of days before CES. No good if the hype train has already left the station when all the passengers arrive

Yeah with big events like CES there normal video's get pushed aside for a little bit. sorta wish they were spewing out heaps of vids each day even of just random things as i used to like when they did that rather then spacing them out... wheres my 50 CES vids a day @LinusTech :'(

What if the build is not ready in time? Custom water block from EK was required, pre-testing, the actual build, testing etc. All these things take time and require parts from different suppliers and software support from the likes of unRAID. Can't build what you don't have the complete parts for. Then you have to edit the footage.

 

Being a paying vessel user I have no issue that this video was released without the 7 day exclusive. Frankly I don't even care if the 7 day exclusive deal goes away completely.

The handy tech under 50$ episode is 21 days old! It was posted on vessel on the 18th of december and is still not on youtube, this was way before ces, and a lot of videos have gone up since then.

An interface I find nicer to use, only 'in content advertising', recommended videos that I am actually interested in, comments on videos that aren't total trash. I also may want to support Vessel too not just LMG.

eh their ui is not the best. and far from being bug-fixed  just pass your mouse over the image on top of a channel. it moves.

this issue has been reported by me over 4 times in the past year. all 4 times included the fix for the problem.

still there today.  and many things are counter intuative and make no sense in the design. but hey. im not a web designer nor a multimedia integrator. idk what im talking about right ?

Linus tweeted that if it got enough re tweets he would post it early. But he was always going to as the re-tweets just got it posted about 2h sooner so he must of been under some kind of contract due to CES being close.

The 7 gamers 1 cpu build is very cool, and with nearly 2 million views, it will be, as far as i know, the first linus tech tips video to reach 2 million views. While that is very exiting this thread is about content that seems to be vessel exclusive, not youtube early.
