Sennheiser HD 8 DJ vs Logitech G933 Artemis

Currently I have Hyper x Cloud gaming headset, it has been very comfortable and decent to good audio quality. Thing is, this year I'm going to college and I intend on buying my 4 year future proof gear. On that list is included upgrading my audio gear. I want a durable headset, with a mic if possible, with really good audio quality and a design that doesn't allow much sound leakage (roommate and all). The Hyper x is good but as Linus said the hinge mechanism has the possibility of breaking in the future and the audio quality wasn't as good as I expected (although I very much liked the closed design). The Sennheiser is pricy but with excellent quality, excellent audio quality and a closed design. On the oother hand, the Logitech has a mic, 7.1 surround sound to be used when I'm watching hd movies on my laptop, seems comfortable nd is a bit cheaper. Can anyone help me out on the choice here? And yeah I game a lot, listen to music and watch high quality movies.

You could go for the Sennheiser, and pick up a Modmic, or a small desktop mic.

One thing I can say though the Artemis has a pretty damn good mic.

We need a budget.

But, I strongly recommend V-moda M100 with V-moda Boom mic.

You could use it as a gaming headset and just pull the cable, plug in the 4 pole 3.5mm cable and it becomes a ultra portable & durable on-the-go headphone

+ it looks damn awesome

If you want durability, this is a no-brainer. I hope I do not have to explain in any more detail.

Well budget wise I'd say 300 dollars is kind of the max that I'd go for my headphones, especially considering I'm still going to have to buy the Jaybird X for when I'm working out.
