Speedfan stopped working

Speedfan have worked perfectly. but the other day, when trying to open it, the program just stood completely still (picture below)

 

What should i do?

i now just stick to the asus uefi fan control not perfect but at least works always

Yup, that's the exact same thing I do.

I stopped all my fans until my CPU reaches a certain temperature and it works great.
