Just keep playing and playing. It'll eventually click.

I'm better than I was back when I played Modern Warfare 2 online. Not great, but better than I was.

Practice makes perfect, some people just require more.

By the way, It is know, not no.

Like for example, I know you, and for no, No, I don't want to play GTA.

It takes a lot of time, I'm talking years not months.

CS bots are probably the best place to get consistent practice. It's how I keep my skills sharp.

Edit: Forgot to mention that consistency is extremely important. Make sure you have the same mouse sensitivity across all games.

  1. have good - great hardware( GPU, CPU, Monitor and have settings.
  2. have/acquire good - great aim and not through a hack
  3. Sights up after a kill or going around a corner
  4. don't use the stupid WASD configurations for the keyboard make one that is suitable to you
  5. don't use fxaa or vsync
  6. properly set up QoS for your games in your router
  7. play with better players than you and try to pick up tips
  8. try to use your HUD
  9. try to learn the spawns
  10. try to use your team-mates, when they are getting shot at, to help you know where the enemy is
  11. have fun while playing
  12. DON'T HACK

If you are ever in MW3 Domination look for BrimStone, that is me or Ghosts Squads/Extinction look for BustyBrenda that is also me

Hours upon hours of Unreal Tournament made me above average in FPS shooters except CS, CS requires a totally out of the ordinary skill, and it's mostly only useful in CS.

It takes time and effort to improve. Easiest way to train reflexes and aim is to go for TDM style games and game modes. Pick one which you like most and change settings in other games to feel like that game.

Improve map knowledge and your sense of situation. Find your own play style. There are different games that allow different play styles and so some allow higher k/d with less skill. Yes, talking about BF3/4 vehicles.

Last advice would be finding good group to play with. Thats same for all fps games. When you are in group, someone should always be looking your back. That makes it easier for you to pick opponents without being surprised. Plus, unless your group is full of douches, they let you pick easy targets and help to finish if you happen to fail.

Battlefront and COD are way different to Battlefield in terms of how you play.

Battlefront was made 'simpler' for those non-enthusiasts types to give it a good crack, but its a lot of dying over and over.

Spawns in Call of Duty can do the same thing... even spawning in and 3-5s later, enemy is spawned behind you.

Battlefield 3/4 - Different kettle of fish, easier to get kills and not get killed.

Play BF3/4 more than the others if this is bothering you that much (dying a lot)

I play the COD/SWBF way more casually, and think about the situation more in BF4 cos its not as frantic as the other two. (Talking about conquest mode here in BF4)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I don't even care about BF, i just mess about LOL

I have over 2 KDR and over 700 SPM in BF3 whilst pissing about so anyone can be good at it if they simply aim and shoot and learn the movement of the game.

BF4 i'm stat wise lower, might be due to me only having less than 100 hrs in it.

My Point was....(however badly I delivered it lol)  they are completely different in how they go about being a shooter and the mechanics used to deliver the experience.

If your good at one, that does not mean the others will be as good/easy to play the same way.

A tip for one, may not work in the others, you have to learn EACH game.

Step 1. Practice

Step 2. Have good hand I coordination and reaction time

Step 3. Profit

It also depends on the game. I rarely ever went positive in Halo or Gears or War but I destroy at CoD (3.0+ KD). CS GO - I'm also good at but I'm going to stop bragging about how amazing I am :3

But for realzis, practice and play and learn. I don't have much time now to play, if I 1v1'ed myself from HS or College present me would probably get rekted xD
