Snow edition has 160mm tall cooler. Normal black case has 155mm cooler. That makes me bit confused.

I am thinking of changing my case to the Thermaltake Urban S31 but I am not sure that my 212X will fit, the height of the 212X is 158mm but the max cooler height for the case is 155mm, will it be ok?

It might work because of tolerances but I'd look for a smaller cooler or another case.

It depends on how the manufacturer measures (if he already calculated in some headroom)

One mm to way or another is usually fine. But you have 3-4mm difference. Not looking good for the case.

Weird thing is that their own gallery pic is using cooler that is 160mm.

If they have a 160mm cooler shown in their gallery, it's probably fine.
