GTX 970-Fallout 4

so i have a gtx 970 turbo and i have a i5-4440.

 

on youtube i see alot of people playing fallout on ultra settings with 60fps with a 970 but when i play i only reach about 30fps max.. Why?

Because it's a crappy game by Bethesda?

Your i5, ultra settings require a i7. Set your shadow distance to medium, or to 10000 in both ini files if you know how.

depends what area of the game you're on and what is going on at the time...fallout 4 performance vary wildly.

Turn of GameBreaks features and you should be okay

Are you using the Steam overlay?

never heard of that

I couldn't find any setting in fallout named vsync.. Where can I find that?

i have now succesfully disabled vsync and im now at 60fps but the screen is like wawy or something idk what to call it.. flickery?
