Hi. My friend has a spare £50 and I thought we should pop a gpu in his pc to let it play some games. I'm currently looking at the radeon hd 5770. Any recommendations?

Look at your options but defiantly nothing new as you will only get like a gt 240 or something basically worse than the iGPU on Intel processors. Go for a used GPU and if you're lucky, you might be able to get a 760 or something (got a 760 for 55 quid so you know...great GPU for my server/LAN/HTPC...)
