I'm working on a logo for a studio I'm starting. I've never done any sort of graphic design before, so what do you all think of this?

My studio name is called Blue Entropy Studios.

Not sure what the letters above the word Studios are.  Black lines should be sharper.

Yeah, I'm working on that; not very familiar with photoshop. I'm trying to figure out a way to make the b a very dark and subtle blue while the e is a darker gray. I don't know how or where I should separate them or make the distinctions between the colors.

Just browse defont, find something that works.

Best I could find to be honest. Everything else was all swirly or fancy.

I don't know anything about graphics but i would say there could be a touch of blue in the logo.

Something far bolder for "studios" would work. The thin/fragile look of what you have now doesn't go well with the "BE" font.

I don't know anything about graphics but i would say there could be a touch of blue in the logo.

haha yeah. I was thinking of making a copy that is just offset behind the BE that is a dark blue. Or making the B a dark blue and the E a dark grey.

A good logo is designed in such a manner that it grabs attention, and immediately presents and sells a brand. Your "BE" above is very unique, and it stands out. However, it does little to nothing in terms of telling me what your product, service, or content is. Additionally, your logo is not symmetrical, nor is it horizontally or vertically bound. A logo should follow at least one of these, and yours follows none. The horizontal tilt makes it look distorted, and if put on print or a website, it would look and feel out of place.

While this likely goes against your design philosophy, here is a concept image I created that demonstrates vertical and horizontal symmetry, whilst simultaneously selling a brand. It toes together both a digital (8-bit) concept, with a flashier, ribbon-style one. The colors indicate something a little less sleek and clean, and a more crafty style.

 

If it wasn't apparent, either, I have watermarked this. That is not a part of the image.

yeah I've already stated previously I'm going to add blue. Do you use Photoshop for your wallpapers? Also updated logo so fa .
