G2A.com Minecraft risks? "premium account"

I am looking to get Minecraft and I noticed on g2a.com this:

https://www.g2a.com/minecraft-premium-account-global.html

does this mean someone is selling access to their account? What risks may be associated with this as apposed to buying a CD key for $13 more?

just buy it from minecraft.net, hassle free

It's basically you getting a name of a user and password, it can either work or not.

It goes against Microsoft Terms of Agreement; so G2A shouldn't be able to support the transaction.

If the user decides to sell the account, and then use the Product ID through the account recovery on Minecraft.net, then he can get the account back.

Also remember that the account could be of someone that actually doesn't want the game anymore, or just some kid that knows the User and Password of his friend in order to get some quick buck or as a prank.

honestly, stay the hell away from this.

buying shady keys is one thing, buying shady second hand accounts is a WHOLE another thing.

Strongly agree on this,

who knows if these accounts were stolen, hijacked, no one knows.

Especially since there are Minecraft game keys too.

well, its now tied to a mojang account, and thus you log in with an email address.

do you get access to that email address as well? what if its the email address of some horrible person?

thats what i worry about, more so than it being stolen/hijacked, because honestly thats probably on par with a lot of stuff on g2a
