How do I remove all bloatware/viruses

OKAY NOW IM ANGRY so I have my friend over trying to help get my whole windows installation thing set up and while I leave the room to use the bathroom on my second PC(the one ive been using to communicate through the forums) he proceeds to try and download a copy of windows 8.1 on a flash drive through the pirate bay, however somewhere along the line he must have downloaded some viruses along with it and whenever i open a new tab or travel to a different forum the tab is redirected to some random site saying "free gift card" ,"slow pc? buy this!", so now i cant even travel the web comfortably so heres m problem i tried to restart this copy of windows 10 it always fails now(resetting to factory) so i cant do that i would assume reverting back to windows 8(the original OS its a prebuilt all in one) would make no change in deleting in whatever was downloaded. how do i remove all this crap I have Kapersky Total Security as an antivirus he must have let it all seep through or it failed to stop the files. would a full scan do the trick or some way to reset pc. I COULD use my copy of windows 7 but then id have to buy another one and even if i do this is a Prebuilt (HP ENVY 23 TouchSmart PC) i would still need all the drivers and im not to great with installing all my drivers online as i do well with using the disc then updating. So after all this text my question is how do i fix this PC

use decrapifier for the garbage and spybot search and destroy for the malware

make sure its version 1.6.2

I would try Avast and Malwarebytes, thats what I use.

Windows should already do that. If not, do you have a cheap wifi usb dongle you could use to connect to the internet after you install windows?

Looks like time to break out the Windows disc for a wipe and clean install.

 

I wouldn't trust anything on a compromised PC, even if downloaded from legitimate sources.

 

1. Write down the serial license number of your current install (open a file explorer window, right-click on This PC and select Properties)
2. Disconnect all removable media devices. Fresh install with whatever Windows disc you have (do not activate it. You can use it with full functionality as a timed trial)
3. Through the freshly installed windows, download and create a Windows 10 installation media (ideally a flash drive)
4. Use that media to fresh install Windows 10. Fully update it and get working AV up and running, before reattaching any removable media or visiting risky websites.

You can get the key with belarc advisor. Just google it.

You can use a variety of anti-virus/malware tools,such as(but not limited to):

avast! and AVG for viruses.

Malwarebytes AntiMalware(feutures a scan for rootkits),ADW Cleaner,Junkware Removal Tool,HitManPro for malware removal,

and CCleaner for cleaning up registry and unwanted and potentially harmfull software.

About your Windows Key,pre-built manufacturers usually just stick a sticker with the key on your PCs case,either thats ontop,front,back,or even under or inside your case,take a look.Or else contact em and they can help you figure this out.

Only thing I would add is that you need to make OEM media in order to use the legit key off the COA. What version of Windows does your machine run @Ramontes? 

 

EDIT: Reason being, a stock 'retail' copy of Windows doesn't accept OEM keys.

well ended up just reverting back to windows 8, reset to factory settings from there as it was an issue from resetting to factory when under windows 10 the os was on a partition and should which i scanned multiple times no issues no need to search for drivers or a windows key but god damn that was frustrating cuz even after all that i still gotta try and figure out why the ehll windows 7 wont install on my raid setup. Regardless I appreciate everyones help and suggestions especially @Josephdalepi  @Gabbs and @huilun02 ill run a couple more scans before i call it a day and talk to that bastard friend of mine
