Hey guys is an intel NUC good enough for mediocre office tasks like Excel, PowerPoint etc..

Please Help me as i need a pc for my office work only no gaming.On a tight budget

yes it is just make sure you buy everything you need.

Not included typically is RAM and SSD/HDD

It has high power, low cost, and is a small device.

office work is what they're more or less intended for.

you can probably do cheaper by buying you own parts, say some i3 or pentium even and running off integrated graphics. but the NUC will be easier.

Yes, but honestly you can still do better for your money with a "normal" PC. The NUC is just in it for the small form factor, and you'll pay extra as a result.

They come with power cords now. My nuc came with one.

Yes, even the lower end likes of the Gigabyte Brix with a Celeron processor inside of it will do for Office tasks.

try finding a Gigabyte brix gaming with the AMD A8 and the m275x. They're like £170 now, and you can attach it to the back of a monitor.

If you are working with under 10k cell Excels Actually I think modern i3 can take that kinda pressure too.
