Hi,I'm planning on building a killer rig with a gtx 690 and the works,I'm confused between getting one benq xl2420tx or 3 benq rl2450h in nvidia surround.I really haven't had a chance to try either of these technologies so I have no idea about how immersive each one is,I was hoping that you guys could help me choose! My main purpose for this rig is gaming btw.\

Cheers guys!

I'd go for the 3 monitors in an eyefinity/surround set up.

The 3D in gaming is just a novelty, a glitchy one at that. You will get crosstalk between the two images some games more, some games less but either way it will always be there. For any type of intense action and twitch gaming 3D will hinder your performance more than anything. If you need to line up a precise shot crosstalk might have you seeing double.

The only downside to doing the three monitors is that you are loosing out on 120hz response time which could result in wasted frames being rendered by the 690.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the 690 will have micro stutter which can make the 3D look a little off at times. Sli and crossfire have and for the foreseeable future will have micro stutter due to the two cards not maintaining a perfect sync with one another.

Have you looked into getting two high end 680's? might save you a bit of money.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Micro stuttering, well I don't think I can avoid it coz I might have to get two 680s or a 690.either way it's gonna be sli and it may produce micro stuttering. So this claim of these 650 games being supported and few of them provided adrenalin pumping action is basically false? that's a bummer!!

Is there any chance of this tech being devloped and perfected sometime in the near future so I can use 3d vision 2(if I get it) and have a good time?

the 690 wont be getting no 120fps on triple screen or 3d surround.
