Use adobe reader without lagging.

I'm well aware that with today's technology this may not be feasible.

I have a computer that run games really well at 1440p, but unfortunately it's hard to use reader without lagging.

Recommendations please. Phase change? Liquid nitrogen?

I don't care how loud it is, I often listen to music while reading, and the hum of fans is like comforting white noise when I'm not

Seems like something isn't working as it's supposed to be in your rig.

Have you ever considered switching to alternate PDF reader?

Please the dual socket 24 core xeon machine I used to use sometimes (not mine) still lagged on reader a bit when I pulled up documentation.

have you tried Foxit mate? it's super light, I use it on an APU build with no lag (Adobe reader took 30 seconds to respond.. dear lord...)

actually yah I switched to that years ago, I use that or the browser ones out of lazyness.

=)

Kinda what the joke is based on, I'm using adobe reader on a machine that's not mine and I forgot how bad it was. Actually, I didn't even know it was so bad years ago until I tried other products.
